Credit cards now accepted |
Enclosed with the printed summer 99 newsletter is an invoice for the 1999 dues. The payment date has been changed to a June time frame (see proposed constitutional changes later in this newsletter). In addition to being coincidental with changes in leadership of ISOES, this change to a June due date will serve to encourage new membership and facilitate payments near the time of the Annual Conference. You have, no doubt, enjoyed several issues of the ISOES Journal, Occupational Ergonomics, and appreciate it as one of the growing benefits of membership.
If you send your dues in now, you will receive the member discount offered at the conference. Please use the mailing address on the invoice: You will notice another new feature this year: We are accepting credit card payments using Visa, Mastercard, or Discover (US funds only), courtesy of our administrator, Biz-comm, Inc. Please remember that when you receive your credit card statement, that the charge will read Biz-comm, Inc. and not ISOES. NOTE: We will not have facilities to accept cash or credit card payments for dues at the conference, although you may pay by check, drawn on US funds. Remember: Only U.S. funds will be accepted. Full members: $75 Payments for dues by credit card must be mailed to the Biz-comm address. Use the invoice and please print clearly. Im looking forward to seeing you at the conference! | Letter from the editor... | My tenure as ISOES Newsletter Editor is coming to an end and I would like to express my thanks for the support of the membership and all of the Executive Committee Officers. It has been fun and has gone by so fast it doesnt seem possible that it has been two years.
I would especially like to thank Valerie Rice and Fred Aghazadeh for being subjects of the Profile articles. It was interesting to learn more about these venerable members and what they have accomplished. Paul Champney is also worthy of special thanks for his ongoing support of the Society. Cheryl Bennett |
